Sleep in Labuan Bajo
The single most useful thing on this page: fly in the day before. Indonesian domestic flights slip often enough that same-day boarding is a gamble, and the boat does not wait.
Transfer to the harbour
We collect you from the airport or your hotel. It is a short drive; porters handle bags at the marina. You carry a passport and the booking confirmation.

Coming back, leave a buffer too — plan the return flight for the afternoon rather than straight off the boat, and later still if anyone has been diving.

- Not realistically. It is over 400 km east, so a day trip means two flights and a boat inside one day. Fly in the afternoon before, sleep in Labuan Bajo, and sail rested.
- How long is the flight?
- Sixty to seventy-five minutes from Denpasar to Labuan Bajo, with several carriers and multiple daily departures. Book the earliest you can — the first flights are the least likely to be delayed.
- Do you sail from Bali itself?
- No. Every departure we sell leaves from Labuan Bajo harbour. A Bali–Komodo crossing is a different product with several days at sea each way, and it is not what this operator runs.
- What if my flight is delayed and I miss the boat?
- A missed departure counts as a cancellation and the 50% deposit is non-refundable, though you may nominate someone to take your place. This is precisely why we push the extra night — it costs one hotel room and removes the risk.
- Are airport transfers included?
- Yes, between Komodo Airport or your Labuan Bajo hotel and the harbour, at both ends. Flights themselves are not included.
- How many days do I need in total?
- Four, for a 3D2N trip done properly: fly in on day one, sail days two to four. Three is possible on an early flight but leaves no margin at all.
