Day tour or liveaboard — which should I book?: If you have one day, the day tour covers all the icons. If you have two or more, the liveaboard is categorically the better experience: sunrise at Padar before the day boats arrive, more sites, and nights at anchor inside the park. That is why the 3D2N share trip is our best seller.
What is the difference between a share cabin and a private charter?: A share cabin sells you one cabin on a scheduled sailing with 8 to 12 other travellers, from USD 300 per person. A charter sells you the whole vessel for your own dates, from USD 1,550 per night. The break-even is roughly six people.
What stops are on the standard route?: Padar Island, Komodo or Rinca for the dragons, Pink Beach, Manta Point and Taka Makassar, with Kanawa or Kelor added on the 3D2N circuit. Multi-day trips can also reach Manjarite and Sebayur, which day tours never do.
Is the trip suitable for children?: Yes, and a private charter suits families best because the pace follows the children rather than the schedule. Child-sized life jackets and snorkelling gear are available. The Padar climb is demanding for very young children; the beaches and snorkelling are fine at any age.

Booking a year ahead splits differently: 30% to confirm, a further 20% at 120 days, balance at 30 days. The deposit is non-refundable on participant cancellation.
How far in advance should I book?: Six to ten weeks for April–November dates, and three to six months for the flagship or a specific vessel in July or August. Wet-season dates can often be booked much closer in.

Will I have to share a cabin with a stranger?: Only if you book a shared bunk class, and then only with same-gender guests. Deluxe and Superior classes are private cabins — couples and solo travellers booking those have the room to themselves.
What is the food like, and can you handle dietary requirements?: Cooked aboard: grilled local fish, satay, salads, Indonesian dishes, fresh fruit. Dietary requirements are handled if you tell us at booking rather than at the jetty.
Is there Wi-Fi?: Starlink is fitted across seven of the nine owned vessels, so most departures have working internet inside the park. It is satellite, not fibre: expect it to slow under heavy load and to drop in a squall. Ask which vessel you are on if connectivity matters to your trip.
