What we still will not claim
You will not find invented job titles on this site. Earlier versions of these pages referred to a Head of Marine Operations, a Lead Guide, a Client Relations Manager and an expert review board of marine biologists. None of those roles were ever published anywhere we could point you to, so they are gone.
What we do claim is what we can show. The captain of your vessel holds a certificate, and we will send it. The boat holds a KSOP approval and a Laik Laut passenger certificate, and we will send those too. The company holds a licence and a registration, and both are above.
The distinction is simple and we hold to it across the site: a credential you can inspect, or nothing at all. That is also why the figures on our commercial pages carry the page they were read from.

One reservations team sits behind several brand names. Worth knowing, so that a different name in a search result does not read as a different company.

The charter brand, established 2015. Komodo Yacht Tour is its yacht-charter desk — the pages you are reading. Bookings, invoices and confirmations all come from Komodo Luxury.
Sister brands
IndonesiaJuara Trip handles full-service tour operations and has run since 2014; Juara Production covers content and digital media. Both sit under the same holding group.
One payment route
Banking details are issued only on official invoices sent from @komodoluxury.com addresses, and bank accounts are never changed by chat message. If payment instructions differ from your invoice, stop and confirm on WhatsApp before transferring.
Several specialist booking sites also route to the same reservations team. If you are unsure whether a site quoting our name is genuinely ours, ask us before paying.

- Nine of them, including the flagships Komodo Signature and Komodo Prestige. The rest of what we sell is chartered from a curated portfolio of vetted partner vessels. We always tell you which yours is.
- Who writes these pages?
- The reservations and operations team, working from the operator's published commercial pages and from park and maritime regulation. Every commercial figure on this site records the page it was read from — the method is set out on our editorial standards page.
