Gili Lawa
Ridge walks at golden hour and anchorages far enough north that the day fleet never arrives. The clearest argument for the fourth night onward.
Six nights aboard
A week is where the park stops being a checklist. The south, the north, the dive sites nobody reaches on a short trip — and days with nothing scheduled in them.

The 7D6N is a published package as well as a charter length: six nights aboard covering the southern icons, the northern anchorages and the dive sites, from Labuan Bajo and back, from about USD 9,300 for a Deluxe vessel.

Day by day
The captain rebuilds this around wind, tide and what the water is doing that week. Treat it as the shape rather than the schedule.
Board late morning, safety briefing, and under way by lunch. A checkout snorkel at Kelor, then south with the afternoon. First night at anchor in a sheltered bay.
A ranger-led dragon walk on Rinca in the cool of the morning. Reposition so you are on the Padar ridge for sunrise the next day rather than at nine with everyone else.
Padar at first light, then across to Komodo Island itself — bigger, wilder, and a walk that feels more like tracking than viewing. Manta Point in the afternoon on the tide.
The day the trip changes. Up to Gili Lawa and the northern anchorages, where the currents are stronger, the water clearer, and most boats have already turned back.
Batu Bolong or Siaba on a slack window, with the vessel repositioned overnight to be there at the right hour. Non-divers snorkel the same sites from the tender.
Pink Beach and Taka Makassar without the queue, because you are arriving when the day boats have gone. An afternoon with nothing in it.
A last reef off Kanawa, lunch under way, alongside early afternoon. Book the flight out for late afternoon, later if anyone has been diving.
Diving is quoted on top at USD 50–80 per dive, and divers pay about IDR 25,000 per day to the park on top of the entrance ticket.
What a week reaches
Not more of the same. These are structurally out of range on two or three nights.

Best for
For a first trip to Komodo the 3D2N is genuinely enough and we will say so. A week is the answer when you dive, when you shoot, or when you have been before.
The 7D6N exists as a published package and as a charter length, so you can either take a scheduled departure or hire the vessel outright. On a week the charter arithmetic turns over sooner than people expect — six nights divided across eight guests is often close to a per-person cabin.
Book further ahead than you would for three nights. A vessel free for six consecutive nights in the dry season is a scarcer thing than one free for two, and the named boats go three to six months out.
Terms are the same either way: 50% deposit to confirm, balance 30 days before departure, deposit non-refundable on cancellation. Booking a year ahead splits 30% now, 20% at 120 days, balance at 30.

Tell us what the trip is for — diving, photography, a second visit, or simply time. We will draft a seven-day route around it and price both the scheduled departure and the charter.
