Deluxe
$1,550–$4,650
per yacht, per night
A comfortable phinisi with en-suite cabins, crew and full board. The entry point, and enough boat for most groups.
VIP and VVIP tiers
What the top of the fleet actually buys you — and an honest account of the point where paying more stops changing the trip.

A luxury Komodo yacht charter is a whole-vessel hire in the VIP or VVIP tier, from USD 1,800 per night for a VIP phinisi up to USD 27,000 plus VAT for a flagship — en-suite cabins, a dedicated chef, and a route built around your group rather than a schedule.

What the tiers cost
Whole vessel, per night, in USD. The itinerary is identical across all three — what changes is the cabin, the crew ratio and the food.

Ayvara and Malca sit here. Air-conditioned en-suites, generous deck space, and the crews guests name in reviews. Signature packages from USD 5,300.

Elite phinisi from USD 3,800; superyachts USD 9,000–17,000; flagships such as Lamima reach USD 27,000 plus VAT. Suite cabins, dedicated service crew, curated dining.
A four-night VVIP phinisi at USD 4,500 a night split between ten guests is USD 1,800 each. For comparison, top-tier Labuan Bajo resort rooms run USD 400–700 a night before meals, transfers and tours — the arithmetic is closer than it looks.
What changes
Not the brochure list. These are the things guests mention afterwards.
The park does not get more exclusive as you spend more. Padar has the same trail, the rangers run the same walk, and Manta Point is a public cleaning station. What you are buying is the boat you return to, not privileged access to the islands.
For a couple, or for four people, a Deluxe phinisi delivers essentially the same days for a fraction of the nightly rate. The tier premium starts paying for itself around eight to twelve guests, when deck space and crew ratio become the constraint rather than the cabin.
We will say this on the phone too. If your group does not need the flagship, putting you on it is a worse trip for more money, and it comes back to us in the reviews.

Consistent across every tier, flagship included.
The Komodo National Park entrance fee is approximately USD 40–50 per international visitor and USD 20–25 per Indonesian visitor, with the charge handled through SiORA. The fee remains the same regardless of the vessel or tour tier you choose.
Quoted on top at USD 50–80 per dive, tank, weights and guide included, because it needs certified dive staff and compressor time.
Never on the invoice. The operator suggests 10–15% if you want a figure; plenty of guests give differently and it changes nothing.
Alcohol is usually BYO with corkage on the higher tiers. Ask before you buy a case in Labuan Bajo.
Send dates, headcount and a budget. We will name the vessels free on those nights across all three tiers, and tell you which one we would book — including when that is the cheapest of them.
